During the meeting, the Deputy Minister stressed the importance of cooperation to accomplish the work assigned to the sector based on the principle of teamwork.
He stressed the need to open a new page based on mutual trust between the leadership of the sector and employees, pointing out that the leadership of the ministry does not take in the assessment of employees any considerations based on the convictions of individuals or their political orientation as focused on the principle of commitment and discipline work.
The Undersecretary of the Hajj and Umrah Sector Sheikh Mukhtar Al-Sarmi reviewed the level of achievement during the last period, the most important of which is the completion of the sector plan for the coming period and its integration with the Ministry's plan and preparation of the detailed program of plans and implementation steps,
Al-Sarmi pointed out that a committee was formed to lead the sector from general managers and assistant agents, which will expand the participation in decision-making, in addition to sitting with the management of the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank to address issues related to the differences of arrears and due to pilgrims, as well as meeting with the private sector represented by agencies Hajj and Umrah.
The meeting discussed the role of the sector in evaluating and evaluating the work of the Hajj and Umrah agencies and working to improve their performance and the mechanism of distributing the quotas for the Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, and the importance of activating the role of the sector in monitoring and evaluation and supervising the agencies based on the responsibility of the sector for the performance and activity of these agencies.
The participants also discussed the efforts exerted to make the current Hajj season a success, starting with continuous communication with the Saudi side to determine the date of the meeting with the concerned Saudi authorities to sign the Hajj agreements with the Yemeni side and allow the Yemeni delegation to visit the Saudi territories to complete and sign the agreements.
